This week, the guys are leaving the streets behind to settle down with a special someone, because they’re talking about the 1988 street brawling action film, Deadbeat at Dawn.
In this episode, the guys ask Chris what took him so long to pick this film. Later, clearly this film was shot on a low budget, but let’s talk about all the things they did right with that money. Guns… check. Blood… check. Impressive fight choreography… not so much, but man, does it work. Also, can bad acting ever be good? Sometimes, and Mike is going to try and explain how… poorly. And finally, it’s rating time. What will the guys rate it this time? Switchblades? Broken glass? If you’ve seen the film, it will all make sense.
