Rolling Stone magazine chronicled the cast of The Warriors as they recreated their subway ride to Coney Island to attend a fan-organized event on September 13th.

Just like in the film the cast took the Q Train, with Michael Beck, who played gang leader Swan, commenting, “These subways are different than they were in 1978.” Also onboard were David Harris, Dorsey Wright, Terry Michos and Thomas G. Waites who played Cochise, Cleon, Vermin and Fox respectively.

Fans at the event were dressed as there favorite gangs from the film. The event also drew the attention of various motorcycle clubs who view the film as a tale about brotherhood and overcoming adversity as a group.

Overall, it seemed the cast were just happy to be reunited again and relive old memories.

Beck told Rolling Stone of the event:

“I found out something today. One of the stunt guys who played one of the Furies, he came up to me and told me, ‘Thirty-seven years ago, you broke three of my ribs with a baseball bat.’ I told him I was sorry. I didn’t mean to.”
