Ghost World

Ghost World Review CFIR

This week on Cult Film in Review, we decided to finally grow up and act like adults – or whatever. That’s because we’re reviewing the 2001 indie drama, Ghost World! In this episode, we witness young love, teen angst, and Indian rock music – but where are all the ghosts? Later, the guys question whether this was a typical 90s film come too late or the first in a line of quirky 2000s dramas. Also, the guys wonder whether the protagonist, Enid, is a master manipulator or just lost in that confusing labyrinth called adulthood. Finally, we wonder how much of this film we can take as reality. Was the ending metaphysical, literal, or were there ghosts in this film after all?
