This week on Cult Film in Review, we’re going to hell and back – assuming “back” is a camp guarded by the minions of Evil! We’re talking about the 1970 fantasy horror, Equinox! In this episode, the guys talk about the history of this oft-talked about cult classic. Later, we joke about religious symbols. Clearly, the beasts of hell would have a hard time taking over Earth if two sticks crossed together was their weakness. Maybe they should have picked a less intricate symbol. Also, Cody wants everyone to know how much of an influence this movie was on Evil Dead – even if the director says it wasn’t. He’s not buying it! Finally, if there is one thing to say about this film, those creatures are surprisingly frightening. Enough to give some of us nightmares!
